Metallica have announced a new album and a European and North American tour.

“72 Seasons” will be the band’s twelfth studio album, and the tour begins in April 2023 in Amsterdam.

Metallica is a heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. The band was founded in 1981 and has sold over 100 million records worldwide. The band’s commercial success made Metallica a highly controversial band.

Metallica’s next tour in Europe and North America to promote the heavy metal band’s new album “72 Seasons” will begin in April 2023 in Amsterdam and end in Mexico City, the country’s capital, in September 2024.

Metallica has announced that it will release a new album on April 14, 2023, which will feature 12 songs.

“72 Seasons” will be the band’s twelfth studio album, released six years after their previous album, Hardwired… The album is produced by Greg Fidelman with two of the band’s members, drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and singer James Hetfield.

Songs included on the record are “72 Seasons,” “Shadows Follow,” “Screaming Suicide,” “Sleepwalk My Life Away,” “You Must Burn!”; “Lux Aterna,” “Crown of Barbed Wire,” “Chasing Light,” “If Darkness Had a Son,” “Too Far Gone?”; “Room of Mirrors”; and “Inamorata.”

To promote the new album, Metallica will offer different shows in each city on the tour, both in terms of repertoire and opening artists.

The “M72 World Tour” will include 46 “one-off concerts” in 22 cities.

A portion of the proceeds from sales will go to Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, whose goal is to help create sustainable communities based on education and the fight against hunger.

The “M72 World Tour” stage will again include the so-called “Metallica Snake Pit,” a space located in the center of the stage to which the audience has access.

Pre-sale ticket sales begin Wednesday, November 30.
