The officers who found him bleeding in the streets took him to a vet to be cared for and named him Hero for his bravery of risking his own life to save another.

Slayer and Paco demonstrated bravery when they killed a copperhead snake while playing in their backyard with their owner’s grandchildren who were four and one years old and the time.

The pit bulls started barking at the snake which alarmed their owner who took the children inside. Slayer was bitten on his nose and Paco was bitten on his elbow. The dogs were rushed to the vet but were able to receive treatment for their bites.
