If you think you want to cheat, you should be prepared for certain things. Isn’t cheating wrong? I’ve outlined my thoughts on cheating in two different articles, which can be found here and here and linked at the bottom.

If you decide to take that leap, and I’m not saying you should or shouldn’t, as this is a personal choice, it gets wild in a hurry.

I will walk you through the first time I cheated and the physical and emotional effects you might experience.

The backstory here is that I wasn’t feeling the connection I needed with my husband at the time. We were drifting apart, and I wasn’t getting the physical, mental or emotional support I needed to thrive. We talked ad nauseum about it and even tried couples therapy. We weren’t getting anywhere. I had been talking dirty with a few men and women online, and that was satisfying enough until it wasn’t.

Like many cheating stories, it took me going on a business trip for the opportunity to present itself.

A very handsome sales rep caught my eye, and apparently, I caught his. We ended up flirting for the better part of two days. It wasn’t until he invited me back to his room at the end of the second day that I had a decision to make.

He made me feel things I hadn’t felt in two years in two days. Sexy, intelligent, funny, and desired. I know he does. My husband loves me, and I love him. But it’s these other things that are lacking. For these reasons, I agreed. I knew damn well I would end up fucking him. It’s all I could focus on while enjoying cocktail hour in the convention center lounge. This is where the emotions of cheating come into play.
